We are currently seeking applicants for Part-Time positions in the following jobs:
Junior Level (Electrical or Computer Engineer)
The ideal candidate would be either:
- An engineering student within 1 or 2 years of graduation or
- A currently employed engineer looking for an opportunity in their spare time
Additionally the ideal candidate would have the following skills and qualifications:
- Demonstrated FPGA development skills using Altera FPGAs & VHDL.
- Demonstrated real time programming experience using the Altera Nios soft core microprocessor.
- Demonstrated real time programming experience using (C, C++).
- Be able to work both in groups and in unsupervised settings.
- Be willing to work evenings in a small group setting in a North Utah County, Utah.
- Be available during some negotiable daytime hours to perform miscellaneous development support tasks such as part acquistion, vendor negotiation, etc.
Electronic Assembler
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a solder certification, and have the following skills and qualifications:
- At least two years of electronic assembly experience that includes:
- Demonstrated ability to solder fine pitched parts and BGAs to printed circuit boards
- Demonstrated ability to replace electronic components such as fine pitched parts & BGAs on printed circuit boards
- Demonstrated ability to solder individul wires on printed circuit boards for repair and/or point-to-point inter-connections.
- Demonstrated mechanical skills including the ability to attach mechanical assemblies to electronic boards.
- Demonstrated abilities to assemble electrical and hardware components into integrated and embedded systems.
- Demonstrated abilities to use electrical test equipment such as multimeters, oscilliscopes, Logic Analyzers, microscope, calipers, etc.
